Fashion Shop Awards 2024: EcoGent's best men's fashion store in North Brabant

The Fashion Shop Awards 2024 were an important moment for EcoGents. The store came first in the men's fashion category in Tilburg, won in North Brabant on rating and finished third nationally on rating. This was a special recognition for a store that focuses entirely on second-hand and vintage men's clothing.

What did EcoGents win in 2024?

During the presentation of the Fashion Shop Awards 2024 in Theater Figi in Zeist, EcoGents achieved several results:

• first in men's fashion in Tilburg;
• first in men's fashion in North Brabant by rating;
• a Gold average of 9.74;
• ranked third nationally in the men's fashion category.

Why this prize was special for us

EcoGents is not a traditional store with new seasonal collections. The stock consists of unique second-hand and vintage pieces that are individually selected, checked and presented tailor-made.

The fact that customers highly rate such a store showed that second-hand men's fashion does not necessarily have to be a niche experience. It can also feel like a full-fledged specialized men's store.

The role of customers

The Modewinkel Awards are public awards. So the results came directly from customer votes and ratings.

For us, this was mainly a confirmation that it is not only the range that counts, but also how people experience the store: relaxed trying on, personal advice and a clear size layout.

From second-hand shop to men's room

The 2024 recognition fell in a period when EcoGents increasingly opted for only men's fashion. Jackets, waistcoats, shirts, suits, ties and other classic categories were increasingly emphasized.

What happened next?

The development did not stop after 2024. Recognition followed again in 2025: EcoGents again became the best men's fashion store in North Brabant and ended that year at number 1 nationally in men's fashion with a public rating of 9.89.

This meant that the 2024 Award was not a one-off outlier, but part of a broader development of the store.

More space, the same approach

EcoGents then grew within the Westermarkt to the larger location at Westermarkt 35A. There is now approximately 300 m² fully equipped for second-hand and vintage men's clothing.
