Whether you come from the direct border region (such as Turnhout, Poppel or Hoogstraten) or especially drive down the E19 or A12 from Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels or Leuven: at EcoGents at Westermarkt 35A in Tilburg, coffee (and a good conversation) is always ready for you.

Our Belgian customers are real connoisseurs. They are not just looking for "something second-hand", they are looking for character, quality and a unique style that is simply no longer found in the standard shopping streets of Brussels or Antwerp. With us you will find that one unique treasure that you have been looking for for years.

Why EcoGents is unique (also outside Belgium!)

Let's be honest: many vintage stores in the Benelux focus 90% on ladies. For the man, there is often only a small rack left in a dark corner, somewhere between the floral dresses. At EcoGents we do things fundamentally differently. We are here exclusively for men.

With 300 m² of retail space, we offer a collection that you will not find on this scale anywhere else in the Netherlands or Belgium. We focus on 'better' men's clothing. No worn-out t-shirts or mass production, but carefully selected items from the best brands and beautiful vintage pieces that will last for generations. Would you like to know more about who we are? A small language course: We speak your language!

At EcoGents we love the Flemish accent and the conviviality that our southern neighbors bring. To break down the border between Dutch and Flemish, we have 'translated' our collection for you. This way you know exactly what to expect on our shelves:

  • The Jacket / The Veston: Whether you opt for a sturdy piece of Harris Tweed or a refined wool cardigan; we have hundreds in stock.
  • The Spencer / The Debardeur: The absolute favorite for a layered look. With us you will find the debar door that gives your outfit that little bit extra 'cachet'.
  • The Shirt / The Undershirt: From colorful retro prints from the 70s to sleek, business shirts from top brands.
  • The Suit / The Costume: For that special occasion, a wedding or simply because you like to look sharp.
  • The Waistcoat / The Waistcoat: Fortunately, we agree on this; indispensable for the real 'Peaky Blinders' look.
  • The Trousers / The Trousers: From classic corduroy trousers to sturdy denim trousers without stretch.

Make it a Burgundian day: The Trappist combo

Our Belgian visitors are often bon vivants par excellence. Of course you come for the clothes, but why not combine your visit with the best that Brabant has to offer?

Our ultimate tip? Combine your visit to EcoGents with a stop at Our Lady of Koningshoeven Abbey. This is where it becomes world famous La Trappe beer brewed. It is only a fifteen minute drive from our store. After shopping for your new outfit, you can enjoy an authentic Trappist beer and a hearty lunch in the shadow of the abbey. This makes your trip to Tilburg a real day trip that you will talk about for a long time.

The Westermarkt: Your ideal base

We are located on the Westermarkt, a place that is perfectly equipped for our Belgian neighbors:

  1. Free Parking: In cities such as Antwerp or Mechelen you pay top price for a parking garage. You can park your car with us completely free right on the doorstep.

Plan your route to Tilburg

Whether you come from the Kempen, exchange bustling Antwerp for a day in Tilburg, or make the drive from Brussels or Leuven: we are happy to make it easy for you.

  • From Antwerp/Mechelen: Follow the E19 towards Breda/Tilburg.
  • From Brussels/Leuven: Follow the E40/E314 and then the E19 towards the Netherlands.

We welcome you all week long, but please note: in order to replenish our collection with new pearls every week, we are Closed on Sunday and Monday. We are happy to assist you from Tuesday to Saturday.
