What is the Golden Pendant?

The Golden Hanger is our sign for garments that really stand out for us. Not because they have to be expensive, but because they have something special: quality, appearance, history or just that one perfect cut.

No better clothes — but extra special

The Golden Hanger does not mean that other clothing is inferior. On the contrary. It's just a way to get certain items to tell a story.

Consider:

• a jacket with an exceptional fit
• a vintage jacket with character
• a tweed suit that you rarely encounter anymore
• an item with a clear zeitgeist

Why we do this

Because clothing is more than fabric. Some pieces invite you to pause for a moment, to try them on, to feel them — and thinking about where you're going to wear them.

The Golden Hanger helps with this. It's not a sales trick but an invitation to look with different eyes.

Always changing

Golden Hanger items are never available in large numbers. Sometimes there is one hanging. Sometimes a few. And sometimes none.

Because just like the rest of the store, the following also applies here: gone = gone.
